How to add the Aqara Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 to the Hub?

Move the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 close to the Hub, open the app, tap "Home" and the tap "+" in the top right corner to enter "Add Accessory" page. Select "Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1" and add it according to instructions. When the Hub makes voice prompts, it indicates that it is added successfully.

Why does the Aqara Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 fail to connect? How to reconnect?

Possible reasons:
1. Operation error. Please add the accessory according to Add Accessory method again.
2. The accessory is too far away from the Hub. Please move the accessory closer to the Hub.
3. There are more than 32 accessories under this Hub.

Why is the Aqara Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 offline often?

Possible reasons:
1. The accessory is too far away from the Hub, please try to install the accessory closer to the Hub.
2. Low battery or dead battery. Please replace the battery.
3. The accessory is installed on the metal surface and the signal is interfered. Please avoid metal surface.

How to verify that the current installation location is proper?

After the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 is connected successfully and before it is installed, press the button of the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1, if the Hub makes a voice prompt "Normal link confirmed", current location is proper; if the Hub doesn't make a voice prompt, move the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 closer to the Hub and try again.

Attentions need to be paid while installing the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1?

1. The distance between the Hub and the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 should not be too far. Press the reset button before installation. After the Hub makes a prompt of normal connection, install the sensor;
2. Stick using the attached sticky tape or simply place it at your desired location;
3. Do not place it at a location exposed to rain or vapor if possible;
4. Do not install it in the refrigerator, kitchen or washroom if possible.

Why is the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 often offline?

1. The sensor is too far away from the Hub, please move it close to the Hub;
2. Run out of battery. Please replace the battery.

How to reset the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1?

If you don't want to use it or you want to add it to other hubs, long press the reset button for over 5 seconds until the indicator light blinks three times. Then the Hub will make a voice prompt "Device Deleted".

What is the function of the button on the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1?

Single-click to check the connectivity to the Hub. It will report the temperature and humidity data to the Hub. Long press to add and reset bridged accessories.

Can the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 be connected with the mobile phone directly?

The Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 cannot be connected to the mobile phone directly. Please connect the Hub to the mobile phone, and then connect the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 to the Hub.

What environment is the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 suitable for use?

The Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 is for indoor use. Normal operating temperature: -20~50℃ (68 - 122℉); humidity: 0~100%, non-condensing environment.

How about the accuracy of the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1?

Temperature precision: ±0.3℃ (32.54℉); Humidity precision: ±3%; Atmospheric pressure precision: ±0.12kPa

How often does the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 upload data?

If the temperature humidity and atmospheric pressure varies a bit only, data will be reported once an hour.
If the temperature variation exceeds 0.5℃ (32.9℉), the humidity variation exceeds 6% and the atmospheric pressure is no less than 25Pa, data will be reported instantly.

What is the alerting mechanism of the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1?

When the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 detects that current environment is out of the comfort zone, it will push notifications to the mobile phone. This function can be disabled in the app.

What accessories can the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 work with?

The Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 can work with other Aqara accessories. For example, when the temperature is higher than the set value, the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 will work with the Smart Plug to turn on the electric fan; when the humidity is lower than the set value, the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 will work with the Smart Plug to turn on the humidifier.

What's the maximum responsive distance between the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 and the Hub? Are walls permissible in the range?

Indoor responsive distance is about 10 m (32.81 ft) (walls are permissible); outdoor responsive distance is about 65 m (213.25 ft).

If the Wi-Fi connection is broken, is there any response between the sensor and the Hub?

1. After the Wi-Fi connection is broken, the sensor can still be triggered, and after being triggered, the sensor will execute corresponding function according to the previous setting in the app. For example, if the Hub has entered security mode before the connection is broken, the Hub will sound an alarm once the sensor is triggered;
2. After the connection is broken, control or response cannot be executed via the app, but local basic functions can be performed.

Why don't the Hub and the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 respond to each other sometimes while the connection is normal?

Please ensure that the distance between the Hub and the sensor doesn't exceed 10 m (32.81 ft) (the effective distance). In this case, it is best to install the sensor at a location closer to the Hub.

Sobha Reserve

Sobha Reserve is a premium villa community developed by Sobha Group in Dubai, featuring Aqara’s whole-home smart solution.

 

The project incorporates Aqara Ssmart door locks, thermostats, smart switches, sensors, and smart curtains. Through the Aqara Home app, residents can manage lighting, air conditioning, and curtains throughout the home.

MBRHE Project

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) is a large-scale housing and community development initiative led by the Dubai government.

 

Aqara partnered with e&, a leading technology and telecommunications provider in the UAE, to provide smart home solutions and services for 350 villas within the MBRHE project. GK Zhelezno Project

GK Zhelezno is a federal-level real estate developer in Russia, founded in 2011. The company has delivered seven large-scale residential projects totaling over 2.6 million square meters, making it one of the country’s leading developers.

 

The project includes key Aqara devices such as sensors and smart switches, paired with Yandex speaker to enable Russian-language voice control. Built on Zigbee wireless technology, the system supports both local and remote control and continues to operate even without an internet connection, making it well suited to residential environments and varying network conditions.

Episode Yongsan 241 Hotel

Episode Yongsan 241 is a modern co-living and rental complex located near Yongsan Station in Seoul. It offers flexible, premium living spaces for individuals and small families seeking short or long-term stays without the commitment of homeownership.

 

The project uses a wide range of Aqara smart devices, including hubs, door locks, smart plugs, temperature and humidity sensors, motion sensors, and presence sensors. These devices support a range of smart functions, such as fingerprint-based door access, environmental monitoring, automatic heating control based on temperature and humidity levels, and sleep status detection.

 

In addition, the project is integrated with the property management system through Aqara APIs, enabling real-time device monitoring and remote operation.

East Lancashire Cricket & Sports Club

This club is one of the oldest cricket clubs in Northern England. As its operations expanded and the number of annual events increased, the club faced several operational challenges, including fragmented equipment management across different areas, high energy consumption, limited security monitoring coverage, and inefficient remote maintenance.

 

To address these challenges, Aqara deployed 300+ smart devices, including cameras, hubs, sensors, and controllers to build an complete smart system.
