The Aqara Wireless Remote Switch (Single Rocker) supports single press, double press or long press. It can be configured in "Automation" settings to control other accessories remotely.
The Aqara Wireless Remote Switch (Single Rocker) can either be attached to a wall or placed on a table. Installation on a metal door is not recommended because the metal surface will affect the signal. When being used as a doorbell, the wireless switch can be installed on the wall next to a metal door. (Please refer to the quick start guide for more details).
The indoor environment varies, and maximum signal strength between the hub and the Aqara Wireless Remote Switch is different. There should not be more than two walls in between.
1. Single press the button 5 times continuously on the Aqara Wireless Remote Switch. If the Aqara Hub prompts voice message "Normal link confirmed", it indicates the hub and the switch are connected.
2. If it does not prompt a voice message, please move the Aqara Wireless Remote Switch closer to the hub and try again.
3. If there are still no voice messages, the Aqara Wireless Remote Switch might be deleted or the battery has run down. Please refer to the user manual for instructions to add again or replace the battery.
4. Single press/double press/long press the Aqara Wireless Remote Switch several times and go to the homepage of the app and select the tile for the Aqara Wireless Remote Switch to check. If the status changes, it indicates the accessory is working properly.
1. If the switch hasn't been bound to a hub, long press the button of the switch for more than 10 seconds. The indicator light will blink 3 times before restoring to factory settings.
2. If the switch has been bound to a hub, please delete it from the app first.
