The security level of Aqara Smart Door Lock N100 is B class, and the security level of the lock cylinder is C class. Both of them are the highest level. (according to the door lock industry standard GA/T 73-2015 Mechanical Anti-theft Lock compiled by the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China)
① Anti-peephole unlock function is to prevent criminals from damaging the peephole by using a special tool to reach into the room and push down the handle to unlock the door;
② Aqara Smart Door Lock N100 has anti-peephole unlock design. When you want to open the door, you must press the anti-peephole button on the indoor handle and push down the door handle to unlock the door.
Aqara Smart Door Lock N100 supports 6 unlocking methods, including unlocking with fingerprint, unlocking with password, unlocking with NFC card, unlocking with temporary password, unlocking with HomeKit Bluetooth and unlocking with emergency key.
There are two ways as follows:
①After installing the Aqara Home app on the mobile phone, please add and connect the door lock, and then register a fingerprint according to the operation prompts of the app;
②After opening the back panel of the door lock, please short press the Set button above the battery compartment of the door lock and register a fingerprint according to voice prompts (you need to add the door lock through the Aqara Home app and then enable the Local Settings function).
Up to 50 fingerprints.
1. Please make sure that the finger is dry, and its fingerprint is not damaged in a large area;
2. During the process of fingerprint registration (you need to register the fingerprint 7 times to complete its registration successfully), please fully press your finger on the fingerprint recognition area, and try to change the fingerprint registration angle according to the voice or app prompts (do not repeat the same angle);
3. For a better unlocking experience, it is recommended to register the thumb.
Aqara Smart Door Lock N100 prevents unlocking by multiple trials from two aspects to ensure security:
①Aqara Smart Door Lock N100 adopts PB in-depth customization algorithm, which can effectively prevent unlocking the door with fake fingerprint;
②After fingerprint recognition fails 5 times continuously, the door lock will trigger the local alarm (the door lock will play an alarm sound and turn on alarm light), lock the fingerprint recognition function, and send an alarm notification to the app;
③Aqara Smart Door Lock N100 fingerprint module adopts the latest self-learning algorithm. The more frequently it is used, the more sensitive it is.
Aqara Smart Door Lock N100 supports unlocking password with 6-10 digits, and virtual password with 20 digits (virtual password includes the unlock password with 6-10 digits, and the combination of unlocking password and virtual password is within 20 digits). (*virtual password refers to adding random codes before or after entering the correct unlocking password to prevent others from peeping when entering the password)
Up to 50 passwords.
Temporary password include one-time temporary password and periodic temporary password.
① After the door lock is added to the Aqara Home app, one-time temporary password can be created anytime and anywhere (Bluetooth and hub are not required to be connected with the door lock.). One-time temporary password can only be used once after being created, and the validity period is within 20 minutes.
② Periodic temporary password does not support remote creation and can only be created when the Bluetooth of the mobile phone is normally connected with the door lock. Periodic temporary password (nanny password) can be set to be valid within a specified time period (for example: 10:00~11:00), or certain days of every month or week. The temporary password can only be used during the valid time period.
You can use other methods to unlock the door, such as using fingerprint, HomeKit, NFC card or emergency key to unlock. After unlocking the door, the keyboard will be unlocked and will not affect the next use.
Up to 25 NFC cards.
Only HomeKit remote unlock function is supported. HomeKit remote unlock function requires to pair the door lock with a home hub; when connected to the Aqara Home app, the door lock does not have remote unlock function.
After the traditional electronic lock is unlocked, it usually takes 5-10s to lock the door again. During this time period, other people can push down the handle to open the door again. It will be dangerous if the bad guy is trailing behind. The handle of Aqara Smart Door Lock N100 rebounds immediately to lock the door to prevent the possibility of pushing down the handle again to unlock the door, which effectively prevents trailing.
Aqara Smart Door Lock N100 has the design to lift the handle to lock the door quickly, which can quickly lock the door by lifting the door handle indoors or outdoors to improve the security level of the door lock.
Locking from inside function can only be operated indoors. After being locked from inside, the security level of the door lock will be improved. Only the administrator's fingerprint or password can be used to unlock the door outdoors. Other users cannot use fingerprint, password or NFC card to unlock.
When the door is locked from inside, you can use the administrator's fingerprint or password to unlock the door outdoors (the emergency key cannot unlock the door). Ordinary users should contact indoor members to unlock the door.
Aqara Smart Door Lock N100 can detect the open/closed state of the door and the almost closed state of the door. If the door is not closed completely, the door lock will play an alarm sound and send a push notification.
The alarm is off by default when the door is not closed or locked. The alarm function needs to be enabled in the app. After adding and connecting the door lock in the Aqara Home app, please set the function in "Door Lock Settings"-"Unlocked Alarm".
Aqara Smart Door Lock N100 triggers alarm notification function as follows:
The door is almost closed; the door is not closed (alarm notification function needs to be enabled in the app); the door is not lifted to be locked or locked from inside (alarm notification function needs to be enabled in the app); the door lock is pried; the battery is low; and the door fails to be unlocked with password, fingerprint or NFC card multiple times.
Aqara Smart Door Lock N100 uses 8 AA batteries for power supply. (4 for main power supply + 4 for backup power supply)
The theoretical battery life of the door lock is 18 months. The actual battery life will vary depending on the actual use environment. The battery performance in a low temperature environment will decrease and the battery life will be shortened.
Note: The battery life is measured by Lumi Lab under the conditions of using 8 original batteries and simulating the door opening 10 times a day (without using double-recognition mode) at room temperature of 25℃.
If the batteries of the door lock is dead, you can use the emergency charging port of Aqara Smart Door Lock N100 to supply power and unlock. The emergency charging port is Type-C, located at the bottom of front panel. Please use a power bank and Type-C cable to supply power for the door lock.
Firstly, there is a ZigBee hub device near Aqara Smart Door Lock N100, and the hub is bound to the same Aqara account; Then, configure the door lock in the "Paired Hub" in door lock device settings page. It is recommended to bind the hub in the Aqara Home app first, and then bind the door lock device according to the app prompts. Before binding the door lock for the first time, you need to reset the door lock.
After Aqara Smart Door Lock N100 connects to ZigBee hub, it can remotely view door lock logs, door lock state, set and execute automations with other smart devices.
N100 supports the Aqara Home app and the Apple Home app, and can be paired and interacted with other smart devices under the Aqara brand or in the Apple Home app (but other devices of Mi Home and Apple are not supported).

If the fingerprint recognition fails continuously until the fingerprint identification is locked, you can unlock it with a password first, delete the fingerprint on the App and re-enter it. When entering fingerprints, you can enter multiple groups to avoid verification failure caused by a single finger fingerprint problem.
