Aqara,\u00a0a\u00a0provider for smart home products,\u00a0announced the launch of its\u00a0much anticipated M2 Hub in the\u00a0Europe.\u00a0The M2 Hub\u00a0is now available\u00a0in Czechia, Slovakia and Sweden, and\u00a0it will be\u00a0followed shortly by Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia and Spain in early 2021.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hub M2 is\u00a0Aqara\u2019s\u00a0most advanced and\u00a0future-proof\u00a0smart\u00a0home\u00a0hub\u00a0so far, and it serves as\u00a0a smart home control center\u00a0for\u00a0a wide range of Aqara sensors,\u00a0controllers and other child devices.\u00a0Compared\u00a0with the\u00a0previous\u00a0version, the M2 supports\u00a0the\u00a0Zigbee 3.0\u00a0protocol, which is the faster, more\u00a0stable and energy-efficient technology,\u00a0and\u00a0the hub\u00a0can connect up to 128 devices*.\u00a0It also\u00a0has a LAN port for wired\u00a0Internet\u00a0connection via Ethernet RJ45, which provides extra stability and shorter response time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover with\u00a0an IR transmitter built in, the M2 highlights the\u00a0infrared control function\u00a0allowing\u00a0users\u00a0to control existing IR\u00a0home appliances, such as turning on TVs and air conditioners,\u00a0from any part of\u00a0the\u00a0room by voice\u00a0command\u00a0and local automations.\u00a0Users have more flexibility when installing the hub thanks to its\u00a0Micro-USB power port, and it no longer takes up the socket space. The\u00a0Micro-USB port\u00a0also allows optional battery backup with a power bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
